The collective debt of thanks that EDH players everywhere owe the sad robot is difficult to properly express. This card is truly selfless, unwavering in its duty – coming down, fetching a land, chump-blocking the next attack and drawing a card on the way out. I’m an absolute sucker for this card and will include it most decks I build, just because I love having a built-in two-for-one that can offer acceleration to more or less any deck. It costs next to nothing and it’s being printed into more and more Commander sets, so maybe it’s time for you too to adopt the sad robot as your own and include it in more of your lists.
