A repeatable Wasteland effect is pretty powerful, although Dust Bowl does make you jump through some hoops to get there. Three mana is pricey for this effect, and you do have to sacrifice lands of your own: but in any deck where you can make sure you have more lands than your opponents, Dust Bowl will help you do everyone’s favorite thing in a game of Commander: blow up lots of lands. Dust Bowl can be put to use in Azusa, Lost but Seeking, where your extra land drops will keep you ahead, or in Titania, Protector of Argoth, where sacrificing lands gets you 5/3s, or Hazezon, Shaper of Sand, where you can replay your Deserts from the bin and sacrifice them again and again. Just don’t be surprised when you become public enemy number one at the table!
